A UFOlogist by profession since 1989, Valery heads the Department for Investigation of Extraterrestrial Civilization under the hand of the Academy Sciences of Russia. Since 1992, he has been the head of the International Information Center for UFO Investigation of Russia. As its Director, he traveled the Soviet Union extensively, gathering information and video footage of active contactees. The data acquired is used for distribution for educational purposes to better understand why we are being 'visited', and what we can do to further our own evolutionary development.
Since 2002, Uvarov has been the head of the Department of UFO Research, Paleosciences and Paleotechnology of National Security Academy of Russia.

Russian, Soviet, Finnish, Swedish, German and Japanese television stations have run many programs that have included Dr. Uvarov's research, as well as video of actual objects, He has appeared on several programs as a host and interviewer, bringing this important information to the Russian people. Over the past 13 years, he has also spoken at many major events throughout the world.

Valery will show video footage of a triangular UFO hovering over Ladoga Lake near St.Petersburg. He will explain what happened there, pointing out interesting details concerning their technology. He will show more video, giving ideas on important directions the Russian security academy is developing this year. The second half of Dr. Uvarov's lecture will cover achievements in paleosciences and paleotechnology developed by NSA of Russia.
