Yvonne became concerned with victims of PSTD in the late 1980s and in 1990 received her certification from the accredited California Hypnosis Motivation Institute. She immediately began to work with PTSD victims, supporting and encouraging them to work through and cope with their PTSD.

In 1991 Yvonne founded CERO, Close Encounter Resource Organization, which provides personal attention and maintains active monthly support group meetings where PTSD victims share their thoughts and feelings about their alien abduction and other unusual close encounter experiences.

As a leading female hypnotherapist in her field, Yvonne has traveled worldwide as a guest lecturer at universities, including M.I.T. and as an invited speaker at many international conferences. Her expertise has been highlighted in TV appearances include The Montel Williams Show, MSNBC, The Discovery Channel, Encounters, Sightings, as well as Italian and other European broadcasts. She has also appeared as a guest on numerous radio programs.
