As a young boy growing up in Virginia, Claude Swanson was curious about the universe, and wanted to understand things at a deep level. In high school he began a journal of his investigations, and titled it “Why?”. He majored in physics at MIT and received his Ph.D. from Princeton. He did postgraduate work at Princeton & Cornel, working on the design of magnetic containment devices for fusion power systems, then joined Aeronautical Research Associates of Princeton. He became a recognized expert in many facets of fluid dynamics, which impacted ship design, oceanography, and the science of submarine detection. He formed his own consulting firm, carrying out studies in applied physics for commercial and governmental agencies, including Dupont, United Technologies, the Army, Navy, DARPA & the CIA.

During those years, Swanson never stopped working on his first love – a subject sometimes called the “Theory of Everything” or “Unified Field Theory”. It is the theory of the universe at the deepest possible level, at which all known forces will be seen to be aspects of one universal force. In the mid 1980s, Dr. Swanson began to learn that paranormal phenomena, such as ESP, energy healing and remote viewing are real and have been proven by scientific experiments. He began conducting a wide-range survey of evidence for psychic and paranormal phenomena. He interviewed many researchers, examined their data, read published papers, and conducted experiments. He concluded that the effects are real, and it’s high time they be accepted and studied by mainstream science.
Dr. Swanson has learned that paranormal phenomena break many of the rules of the old physics. They will lead us to a deeper understanding of space and time, to new forms of energy, perhaps one day to time travel and access to parallel universes. Even at this early stage in the scientific revolution, these discoveries are providing a deeper understanding of the human soul, human consciousness, and a deeper understanding of who we really are.
