Dr. Robinson was awarded the first Doctor of Civil Laws Degree in space law from the Graduate Law Faculty at McGill University. During his lengthy law career, he has authored over 100 articles/ books on space & aviation law, as well as business law relating to international space commerce.

The evolution of Homo sapiens sapiens from the creation and/or nurturing of its organic genesis on Earth, through the protohominid stage to modern man, and now into near and deep space as a predictable ecotone expansion, is the result of a groping, but naturally directed, form of progressive organic complexification. With the melding of human biology and technology (bio-technology) into the primary tool allowing adjustment of Home sapiens to hostile and increasingly synthetic life support environments, both natural in space, and as a human created by-product of the species on Earth, we see the essence of being human starting to shift from human to humankind.
