Maurice M. Cotterell set off to discover the truth about the Temple of Inscriptions in Palenque, the ceremonial center of the Maya. There, he revisited the tomb of Lord Pacal, the Mayan Priest King, which was opened in 1952 for the first time in 1250 years. Correrll re-examined the evidence, and found answers to riddles and mysteries which have baffled explorers and scientists since travel began. Maurice is the world’s authority on the decoding of the Mayan artifacts, and is the author of “The Amazing Lid of Palenque”, as well as others.
