Dr. O’Leary is a planetary scientist and US astronaut appointed in 1967 to go to Mars before the manned Mars project was canceled by NASA. He holds a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.A. in astronomy from Georgetown. He is a former Ivy League physics faculty member, as well as author of “The Second Coming of Science”, “Exploring Inner and Outer Space” and “Miracle In The Void”.
