Rising Consciousness of World Leaders:
As a Director of the International UFO Congress, Don was a participant in the sixth and last State of the World Forum held at the New York Hilton in conjunction with the UN Millennium Summit in September 2000. This allowed him to participate in round tables on: Democratizing Global Government; The Earth Charter; Biotechnology – Human Genome – Human Being; and Future Visions: Putting Scientific and Spiritual Imaginations to Work. This also allowed him a web page on a site accessible only the participants of the six State of the World Forums. This page attracted attention of the Forum President.

Ware will share some communications with the State of the World Forum President on the June 18-20, 2003 conference in Brussels titled, “National Sovereignty and World Challenges: Choices for the World after Iraq.” It is a sign of changing times in Ufology that Ware, as a Director of the IUFOC, was invited to be among the participants when they were limited to 150. The former European Chairman of the Trilateral Commission chaired the conference. Speakers included: Pat Cox, President of the European Parliament; His Royal Highness Prince Hassan of Jordan; David Sandalow, Executive VP of World Wildlife Fund; Air Marshall Sir Timothy Garden, former Director of the Royal Institute for International Affairs; and James Woolsey, former CIA Director and now Partner and VP of Booze Allan Hamilton, Inc. Ware will describe the Integral Governance Initiative that followed the conference, a new effort to help resolve the 20 most serious problems of the world.
