My name is Ann Andrews.
I am happily married to Paul and have been for the last twenty six years and we have two grown up sons, Daniel, 24, and Jason, 21. I grew up in South East London, and my upbringing was very normal and ordinary and that is how I would describe myself: ordinary – except that I have had to learn to cope with extra ordinary situations and events over the years and all really starting when Jason was born.
We now know without a shadow of a doubt that our youngest son, Jason, is a multiple alien abductee and a star child.
This wasn’t something we readily accepted and we looked for answers elsewhere for the strange things which were happening to him and to our family. We have taken him to see psychiatrists, psychologists, child behaviourists, and many other doctors believing there to be a rational explanation for everything. Jason has been in and out of clinics and hospitals, undergone tests for sleep epilepsy, brain malfunction etc., All tests proved negative. We put a lot of faith in the medical profession; we wanted someone to come up with the problem and the cure. All we ever got was confirmation that there is nothing wrong with him either physically or mentally. We still have the letter from the psychiatrist stating that our son is not physcotic; therefore, his accounts of what happens to him – and his story has not altered since he was about four years old – is the truth. We were eventually grudgingly forced to accept the real truth of our still ongoing situation.

My greatest regret in all of this is the fact that it took me twelve years to finally accept what was happening to my son. I was always there for him in the sense that most parents are there for their child, to hold him when he would run screaming about his ‘nightmares’, but I couldn’t believe what he was telling me: my social upbringing would not allow me to believe such things, even though I had no other explanation.
Jason is now twenty one years old yet whenever he is asked if he has one memory in all of this which stands out, he will always answer “the day my mum and dad said that they did believe me.” Our story is documented in our book, “Abducted” and though this book has an ending, our story doesn’t. So much more has happened since the book finished. In hindsight, I feel that the book was written from a standpoint of fear and confusion but this is no longer the case. As he got older, Jason overcame his fear and started listening to them, his abductors, and, more importantly, learning from them.
This then, is our story so far though I suspect that it will continue for many years to come.
