The public first became aware of Project Serpo in November 2005, through a series of releases on a private e-mail UFO discussion list, and soon after via Bill Ryan’s website www.serpo.org. What some believe to be the first stages in genuine UFO disclosure, orchestrated by someone who claims to be a high-level anonymous source within the DIA, continues up to the present and shows no sign of stopping.

The controversy generated by the Serpo disclosure has been fierce. Some of the material seems hard to accept at face value. Is this really disclosure? How much of the information is factual? What can we believe? What do we actually know? What may be going on here? In his lecture Bill Ryan presents the essential Project Serpo information – already a considerable complexity – and will present various hypotheses. He will also give a generous portion of his lecture over to questions from the audience.

Bill Ryan was trained in Mathematics, Physics and Psychology (Bristol University, 1974), followed by a brief stint in teaching. For 27 years he has been a management consultant, specializing in personal and team development, leadership training and executive coaching. Major long-term clients included BAe (Systems) Ltd, Hewlett-Packard, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is not and never has been connected with the military, government, or any formal UFO groups. This is the first UFO convention he has attended.
