Ms. Talbott is the President of the BLT Research Team, Inc., a non-profit, corporation whose primary purpose is the scientific study of physical artifacts related to various "anomalous" phenomena, with particular interest in the crop circle phenomenon. Although the primary intent behind the BLT effort has always been to apply known and accepted scientific procedures to physical evidence recovered from "anomalous" events, this is not always possible. In some of the ongoing investigations situations arise, events occur, where there is no known relevant scientific application available. If, however, we are convinced that the events are in fact "real" (that is, that they are occurring in our physical world) we feel that we must consider these events as seriously as we do those which more readily lend themselves to current scientific technologies. More and more it becomes clear that the challenge is not the discovery of good cases to study—there are so many we are often nearly overwhelmed. Instead it is the formulation of the correct question(s) to ask in each case and the continuing discovery and recruitment of trained, open-minded scientists and academics, willing to apply their expertise.

The Boy From Holland: Consciousness & the Crop Circles will begin with an introduction to the published scientific findings of the BLT Research Team Inc. regarding crop circle plants and soils world-wide, followed by some of Ms. Talbott's personal observations of, and encounters with, unidentified energetic phenomena while visiting Robbert van den Broeke in Holland. The BLT Research Team's work with Robbert involves 10 years of increasingly unusual events occurring in conjunction with new crop circles. During regular personal visits to Holland dramatic encounters have occurred which suggest the involvement of a facet of consciousness unknown – or ignored – by modern science
