| Wendelle Stevens will present four cases of contact he was already investigating prior to the "Billy" Meier's contacts with his so-called Pleharans in Switzerland, which began in February of 1975. These other contacts were with extraterrestrial human beings who said they came here from a star group we call the Pleiades. In every case each contactee, when they hear of one another, believed they were the only one, and that all others were simply copycat reports.
Wendelle Stevens, during his long career in the military, learned to fly an extensive array of aircraft in the Army Air Corps and later supervised a highly classified team of technical specialists in the installation of hi-tech data collecting equipment aboard the SAC B-29s of the Ptarmigon Project – a mission to photograph and map the entire Arctic land and sea area. It analyzed all EMF emissions in the region, photographed anomalous phenomena, and recorded disturbances in the aircraft’s systems looking for external influences caused by UFOs. The data was then couriered nightly to Washington.
Stevens began his own research and collection effort, eventually amassing the largest private collection of UFO photographs in the world. He has published numerous reports, articles on the events and a book including 22 such reports. He continues to seek elusive answers to the many questions raised by this phenomenon. Wendelle is one of the founding Directors of the International UFO Congress.
